Newborn Session: Norah Rae

It’s an incredible journey as a photographer to be there with a couple when they exchange their wedding vows, and again as they embark on parenthood. Chelsea and Kevin welcomed their perfect baby girl, Norah, into the world and invited me into their home to capture this amazing new start. I couldn’t be happier for the three of them (plus little Leo)!

Elias’ First Birthday Celebration

Elias had an awesome “Lumberjack” themed 1st Birthday party! I feel like this little man was just born. Time is flying! It was another great afternoon with one of my oldest client families šŸ™‚ Happy Birthday, Kiddo!

A Highland Park Portrait Session: Meg and John

It is always so flattering for a fellow photographer to ask you to take their family photos. Meg and John met me out in Highland Park on a chilly afternoon in December with their pup for portraits. Here are a few of my favorites! (To be honest, it’s more than a few. I had a hard time picking favorites, lol)

A Frick Park Engagement: Ariana and Grant

Ariana and Grant are one of those incredible stories about being together since you were kids. Seriously, not even high school sweethearts…middle school sweethearts! They have stood the test of time AND distance (Pennsylvania to Michigan!). They love one another so much, and it shows. I wish them the very, very best in 2017 and to have the most beautiful wedding day in Michigan. <3

Peters Lake Park: 2016 Mini Sessions (Part 2)

If you look closely, you can see the first little snowflakes for the seasonĀ in these mini sessions! Burnt orange leaves on the ground, with winter sneaking in. I wrapped up my 2016 mini sessions with these three adorable families on a chilly Sunday by the lake. Lots of fun photos and warming up with snuggle photos. šŸ™‚

Duckstein Family Session, Fall 2016

This family session means so much for so many reasons. I have watched these kiddos grow so much over the past 4 years, from adorable babies to awesomeĀ children. They have such an amazing and fun energy, that I always forget I am working! In addition, one of the family pups passed away less than a week after our session. My heart breaksĀ for this beautiful family, but I am so glad I was with them to snap a few shots. I know Nayah is in puppy heaven, having a ball. <3 XOXO2016-11-21_0001.jpg 2016-11-21_0002.jpg2016-11-21_0003.jpg2016-11-21_0004.jpg2016-11-21_0005.jpg

Newborn Session: Cora Marie

There is nothing more amazing than a newborn baby. I feel so lucky to be invited into a family’s home as they embark on parenthood. Jill and Brian are wonderful people and have already become greatĀ parents to their beautiful baby girl, Cora. Plus, if you love Penn State, this will be your kind of kiddo. šŸ™‚

North Side Engagement Session: Katelyn and Chris

It’s no secret that the Mexican War Streets in the North Side of Pittsburgh is my absolute favorite neighborhood. So when Katelyn and Chris mentioned that they also love this area and that they wanted their engagement portraits here, I was over the moon! We started at Commonplace Coffee on Buena Vista and started walking from there. (BTW, this cafeĀ is not only adorable, but they were so kind to let us use their space for a few shots. Check this place out!). Katelyn and Chris are tying the knot next August at Soldiers and Sailors in Oakland! Hooray for 2017!

Sheraton Station Square Wedding: Andrea and Cody

It is so evident in these photos that this group was so much fun! Andrea and Cody were so relaxed and easy going on their special day. They absolutely love their family, friends, alma mater, and PITTSBURGH! They tied the knot at Heinz Chapel in Oakland and had a beautiful Pittsburgh themed reception at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Station Square. There were even terrible towel cookies (and jorts, lol!). Congratulations!

Thank you Michael Daugherty for assisting!! We had a great year!
