If you look closely, you can see the first little snowflakes for the season in these mini sessions! Burnt orange leaves on the ground, with winter sneaking in. I wrapped up my 2016 mini sessions with these three adorable families on a chilly Sunday by the lake. Lots of fun photos and warming up with snuggle photos. 🙂
This family session means so much for so many reasons. I have watched these kiddos grow so much over the past 4 years, from adorable babies to awesome children. They have such an amazing and fun energy, that I always forget I am working! In addition, one of the family pups passed away less than a week after our session. My heart breaks for this beautiful family, but I am so glad I was with them to snap a few shots. I know Nayah is in puppy heaven, having a ball. <3 XOXO

There is nothing more amazing than a newborn baby. I feel so lucky to be invited into a family’s home as they embark on parenthood. Jill and Brian are wonderful people and have already become great parents to their beautiful baby girl, Cora. Plus, if you love Penn State, this will be your kind of kiddo. 🙂
It’s no secret that the Mexican War Streets in the North Side of Pittsburgh is my absolute favorite neighborhood. So when Katelyn and Chris mentioned that they also love this area and that they wanted their engagement portraits here, I was over the moon! We started at Commonplace Coffee on Buena Vista and started walking from there. (BTW, this cafe is not only adorable, but they were so kind to let us use their space for a few shots. Check this place out!). Katelyn and Chris are tying the knot next August at Soldiers and Sailors in Oakland! Hooray for 2017!
Megan and Lee were married in July at a private ceremony at the groom’s family farm. On Saturday, August 8th 2015, they celebrated at the Pittsburgh Glass Center with all their friends and family. By celebrate, I mean they blew the roof of the building. This was such an incredibly enjoyable shoot. Megan and Lee have an impossibly fun and lighthearted feel, not to mention, great taste in dance music. Cheers!
Brenda and Mark were married on Saturday, August 1st 2015 at Gable Farms in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Greek life at Robert Morris University brought this fun and incredibly nice couple together. Their wedding, their bridal party, and their guests were an absolute blast! I hope their honeymoon in Punta Cana was amazing.

Katy and Jerry met and were eventually married on Saturday, July 18th 2015 at St. Thomas More Church. This incredibly down to earth and sweet couple hosted their reception at St. Clair Country Club. I had such a great time getting to know this couple! Mike and I had so much fun at the reception, especially when the masks came out!

Chelsea and Kevin were married on Saturday, June 20th 2015 at Christ Church at Grove Farm, followed by a small reception at Sewickley Valley YMCA. Chelsea is one of the absolute sweetest women I have ever met. I am so happy we were introduced and that I could be apart of their special day!

Jamie and Shawn are getting married at Lingrow Farm this October, so they wanted to shake it up by having their engagement session in the city. They met years ago at PNC Park, so we of course had to make a quick stop at the North Shore. This couple is so fun and laid back, and I know their wedding will be the same way!
