Frick Park is always gorgeous and quiet in the morning! Madison picked a great spot for her senior portraits. She is such a beautiful and fun woman, and I wish her the best with college picks in the upcoming months!
My final trip of 2017 is so close to my heart. This is our final family vacation as the three of us, before our little girl joins us in a few weeks. We rented a house in The Outer Banks with my husband’s side of the family and had a wonderful time. My beautiful, but incredibly cautious little guy was not very keen on the wild ocean. However, he loved playing monster trucks in the sand and swimming in the pool with his Aunt Lauren. Here are a bunch of shots of a few of the people I love the most.

We had a beautiful Sunday afternoon at The SpringHouse Country Market for a family photo session! I have taken this lovely family’s photos many times now, but this session was special because I got to meet both Grandmas!
This was a DREAM day for everyone, including the wedding photographers that were gushing over the beautiful location, details, and couple! Kass and Joe were married in a beautiful and intimate courtyard ceremony at the Morning Glory Inn, literally surrounded by their loved ones. Their best friends, brothers and parents made meaningful (and absolutely hilarious) speeches, followed by an incredible dinner. After we strolled through the neighborhood to snap portraits, they danced like crazy under the string lights. Cheers to an amazing wedding, and to the new Mr and Mrs!

Morganne and Andrew are both incredibly beautiful and sweet. From the moment I met them last year, I knew I needed to be their wedding photographer, because they had such a great vision for their wedding day. This was a PERFECT way to kick off the 2017 season. I am so happy for them in their marriage AND wish them the very best in their move to Seattle (my favorite city in the world). Plus they invited me to visit <3<3 Congratulations to this great couple!

I was so happy to hear that another one of my lovely bride and grooms were adding a third this year. Caroline arrived a touch ahead of schedule, and couldn’t be more perfect. She was so comfortable and sweet while we took photos with her parents and puppy. She even gave me a sweet little wave goodbye at the end! 
It’s an incredible journey as a photographer to be there with a couple when they exchange their wedding vows, and again as they embark on parenthood. Chelsea and Kevin welcomed their perfect baby girl, Norah, into the world and invited me into their home to capture this amazing new start. I couldn’t be happier for the three of them (plus little Leo)!
It is always so flattering for a fellow photographer to ask you to take their family photos. Meg and John met me out in Highland Park on a chilly afternoon in December with their pup for portraits. Here are a few of my favorites! (To be honest, it’s more than a few. I had a hard time picking favorites, lol)
Ariana and Grant are one of those incredible stories about being together since you were kids. Seriously, not even high school sweethearts…middle school sweethearts! They have stood the test of time AND distance (Pennsylvania to Michigan!). They love one another so much, and it shows. I wish them the very, very best in 2017 and to have the most beautiful wedding day in Michigan. <3
