We had a beautiful Sunday afternoon at The SpringHouse Country Market for a family photo session! I have taken this lovely family’s photos many times now, but this session was special because I got to meet both Grandmas!
Little Avery is one! We took lots of pictures to capture the milestone in West Park with her family. We had to seek shelter under a big tree by the Aviary due to a rain storm, but luckily the sun came out for a few shots towards the end.
I love watching my best friend’s family growing up. Happy Birthday, Avery!
My niece is about to wrap up her first trip around the sun! This little lady stole my heart when she made her grand entrance into our lives. I utterly adore her perfect little face (whether that’s with a cheesy smile or being super serious) <3 We enjoyed a warm morning in West Park with balloons and many puffs.
Time is flying! Just a minute ago I was meeting newborn baby James, and here we are getting ready to celebrate his 1st Birthday! We spent an evening crawling around the backyard snapping pics and chatting about his big party coming up! I can’t wait to celebrate with them, but in the meantime, here are a couple of my favorite shots.
I was so happy to hear that another one of my lovely bride and grooms were adding a third this year. Caroline arrived a touch ahead of schedule, and couldn’t be more perfect. She was so comfortable and sweet while we took photos with her parents and puppy. She even gave me a sweet little wave goodbye at the end! 
We celebrated Marin’s 1st trip around the sun with lots of friends, family, and treats! Surrounded by so many kiddos, she dove into her smash cake with two hands and one foot. 🙂 I couldn’t be happier for this gal, and I’m glad I could be apart of their celebration. Happy 1st birthday, little lady!
It’s an incredible journey as a photographer to be there with a couple when they exchange their wedding vows, and again as they embark on parenthood. Chelsea and Kevin welcomed their perfect baby girl, Norah, into the world and invited me into their home to capture this amazing new start. I couldn’t be happier for the three of them (plus little Leo)!
Elias had an awesome “Lumberjack” themed 1st Birthday party! I feel like this little man was just born. Time is flying! It was another great afternoon with one of my oldest client families 🙂 Happy Birthday, Kiddo!
It is always so flattering for a fellow photographer to ask you to take their family photos. Meg and John met me out in Highland Park on a chilly afternoon in December with their pup for portraits. Here are a few of my favorites! (To be honest, it’s more than a few. I had a hard time picking favorites, lol)
If you look closely, you can see the first little snowflakes for the season in these mini sessions! Burnt orange leaves on the ground, with winter sneaking in. I wrapped up my 2016 mini sessions with these three adorable families on a chilly Sunday by the lake. Lots of fun photos and warming up with snuggle photos. 🙂
