Guys, great news. We survived. We are getting back to stuff like family portrait sessions.

I missed this so much.

(and honestly, that kinda surprised me.)

It wasn’t you, it was me. Well, “work” me.

I am so over performing. Don’t get me wrong, I can still mind my p’s and q’s. I am housebroken.

But the whole performing full time for the comfort and benefit of others? Meh. Nah.

I strongly considered the end of my photography career. I simply lost interest in having a “client facing” version of myself.

So, I retired “client-facing Jennie”.

…and if I feel comfortable with you, then you will see almost no changes in me. Most of my clients probably just thought I was in a fun and happy mood.

No, that’s what I am like. (Chill I have bad days, too) But I am saying, yeah. When I am comfortable, I shine.

So if you’re still with me at this point: Thanks.

I love you. I love your families. I love watching you grow.

Thank you for applauding me.

Not quite applauding? That’s okay too. I get it. We can both eat and not share the same table. I wish you well.

To kick off mini’s, I decided to eliminate any and all stress after 100% of my bookings were annihilated last year (it’s fine I’m fine I’m totally fine it’s fine.)

I knew that if I had to even mention “rain date” I would need a sedative and a nap. SO.

I rented the cutest freaking studio in the Strip District.

Even better: It is the 2nd floor of the 31st Street Pub.

Yeah.

YEAH.

An amazing couple rehabbed a space where Jack White likely tuned his guitar, and rented it to me.

To take photos of people I missed.

Then relax in the soak tub after a night of edits. Like. What?

But THEN: Alex locked down childcare last minute and met me at the studio once I wrapped with takeout from Salem’s.

We had a perfect date night. Details omitted. There’s youths on here, alright?

Spring Minis turned into my favorite work day ever.

I love work now. Woah.

Anyone have a boss piece of land I can use for Summer Minis?
